Congratulations to Ali Nalbant

Following last week’s good news, another of our employees has had some great news of their own. Congratulations to Ali Nalbant who has been accepted onto the HNC in Mechanical Engineering, Level 4 Course at the Heart of Worcestershire College. As part of his on-going development at work, starting in September 2022, Ali will be spending one day a week at the Worcester campus developing his academic knowledge of engineering.

Congratulations to Ali Nalbant

As part of this HNC Course Ali will be looking at fundamental mechanical engineering modules covering:

– Engineering Design
– Engineering Maths
– Engineering Science and
– Mechanical Principles

These course modules will give him a solid foundation to progress within Simmatic Automation and develop his broader knowledge within the engineering sector.

Alongside the fundamental modules, Ali will also have the opportunity to select modules such as; Managing a Professional Engineering Project and Computer Aided Design, both of which are a developing branch of the Simmatic services tree. Ali has already experienced the need for both project management and computer aided design in his first year here at Simmatic. Designing and integrating our VMECA vacuum and Airwork Pneumatic product ranges into bespoke 3D printed arrangements for customers is a task Ali has been asked to carry out recently. He’s also been involved in critical project management and resourcing meetings where Ali had first-hand experience of how crucial thorough project planning is essential to projects running successfully.

Whilst the academic side of the course is a huge benefit of the HNC course, two of Simmatic’s current employees also did similar courses as part of their academic career. They both found that whilst the education was key, being able to draw on the experience of the lecturers and other peers on the course was invaluable in solidifying, not only what they learnt but also, their interest in a subject which is so multifaceted it would be impossible to cover it in a single working life of experience.

Join us in saying congratulations to Ali Nalbant!
