Dale’s product focus this week highlights New Magic Cups from VMECA.
Firstly, the PG48 Magic Cup is a bellows style lip designed for packaging. This NEW cup actually collapses inside itself and supports, it’s also an ideal option to our bag lifting cups. Available in the Magic Cup series – Simmatic can supply with fittings on, or in this case, as we’re demonstrating, using a Magic Gripper. The Magic Gripper has a cartridge inside, which supplies compressed air to the cup, this generates the vacuum.

The newly released SB30 Vacuum Cup from VMECA
This cup is specifically for use with thin films, plastics and paper. With an internal support inside the cup lip, a VERY soft edge and a soft bellows. This cup is in Magic Cup format, 30 shore. Simmatic can supply these cups with a Magic Gripper (as demonstrated), which has a built-in generator, or as independent cups with fittings ⅛, ¼ etc… SB vacuum cups are also available in 50 shore and FDA / Food Grade material. On the heaviest items, even though they stretch the cup, it has no problem in picking up and with the different types of papers you can see there is no marking on any of them.
