PG48 Magic Cup from VMECA
The PG48 Magic Cup features a bellows-style lip specifically designed for packaging applications. This NEW cup collapses inward on itself to provide added support during lifting, making it an excellent alternative to traditional bag-handling suction cups.
Available as part of the Magic Cup series, Simmatic can supply it pre-fitted with connections or as shown in our demonstration, paired with a Magic Gripper. The Magic Gripper contains an internal cartridge that uses compressed air to generate the vacuum directly at the cup.

The NF60-RA suction cup operates based on Bernoulli’s principle, enabling it to lift objects with minimal contact. It features an integrated multi-stage vacuum generator that delivers high vacuum flow and strong suction force. This design allows for safe and damage-free handling.

It’s Pancake Day! 🥞
Also known as Shrove Tuesday, it’s the traditional feast day before Lent begins on Ash Wednesday. Lent marks the 40 days leading up to Easter and has historically been observed as a time of fasting.
In Anglo-Saxon times, Christians would attend confession on Shrove Tuesday and be “shriven” (absolved of their sins). A bell was rung to call people to confession, which became known as the “Pancake Bell” – a tradition that still continues in some places today.
Shrove Tuesday falls 47 days before Easter Sunday, so the date changes each year, landing anywhere between 3rd February and 9th March. Traditionally, it was the final chance to use up rich ingredients such as eggs and fats before the Lenten fast began, making pancakes the perfect way to do so.
