Simmatic Automation has enjoyed continued and considerable growth over the last few years.
During the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and subsequent national lockdowns Simmatic were able to remain open for business and continued working to support their customers – in accordance with UK Government guidelines and trade association with the PPMA. Although working at a reduced capacity with key workers operating our offices, we were able to maintain deliveries and supplies to new and spares enquiries.
We purchased our warehouse unit in June 2020.
In August 2021, Simmatic were thrilled to welcome Thomas Greenow-Langford to the team. Tom joined us as an External Applications Engineer after five years of experience in the engineering industry and in September 2021, Ali Nalbant joined team Simmatic as our new Apprentice.
Our recently purchased forklift truck is to use in our warehouse facility. Three of our employees: Dale, Ben and Ali completed a forklift truck operator training course: Counterbalance Forklift Training which was delivered on site here at Simmatic’s business premises by Forklift Licence Training.
Due to the Coronavirus pandemic developments in our warehouse unit, purchased in 2020, had to unfortunately be put on hold. However, in the last few months we have seen significant changes taking place.
A custom-made mezzanine floor has been fitted by John Scott Works which incorporates:
- A new floor plan creating double the working area
- A staircase to the office upstairs
- A pallet gate for unloading deliveries
- New wiring and lights fitted by Daybury Electrical Services Ltd
This new floor space will promote continued and considerable growth for Simmatic; allowing us to grow and take on larger projects, increasing our capabilities as a company, improve after sales services and offer a wider product service to customers.
